Kozara National Park is bordered by the Sava, Vrbas, Sana and Una rivers and combines dense forest with hilly, grassy slopes. The park is home to deer, rabbits, wild boars, wolves, and wild cats and numerous mountain springs.
Open year round, the park offers diverse recreational opportunities in all seasons with both hiking and ski trails. Mountaineering, mountain biking, cycling, paragliding and bird-watching are also available.
Accommodation may be found in the national park at Mrakovica and in the nearby towns of Prijedor, Dubica, Gradiska, and Banja Luka.
